56 is the angle that is used in the most notable design feature of the product and is also a reference to the modern furniture made during the Fifties.
The "Fifty-Six" is a multifunctional side table or coffee table with small storage space. It can be used as a regular table, something to place your mug on.
Or it can have a certain place in your livingroom, to store some books or records. It can also be useful as a small desk. Your laptop and phone can be stored underneath.
But most of all it is a product for a time to relax, for a tea or coffee break during your work, to dream, to wonder and to 'drift' off in your thoughts.
