Creative

All Things Creative: this phrase has guided me from the very beginning. Whether it’s a brand identity, a book, a product, or even a landscape, as long as a project carries a vision I can genuinely engage with, it is worth pursuing. I strive to make every project deeply intertwined with my personal interests and with a broader perspective on design, context and environment—and, ultimately, on life itself. For me, design is never isolated. It absorbs its surroundings, responds to culture and place, and contributes something meaningful in return.

Authentic Communication

I began my career at a graphic design agency We make. in Antwerp, where I grew into the role of 'Head of Branding'. There, I developed brand identities for both large and small clients, from the ground up. Over time, my focus shifted. Mission and Brand Purpose became more important than surface aesthetics. Content and context grew supreme over visuals alone. I started seeking more authentic communication and equally authentic clients, often aligned with my own interests and values. My work became guided not only by creativity, but by morals and integrity.

Multiple Crafts,
One Vision

Fatherhood and returning to my hometown Kalmthout, marked a profound shift. I had reached a ceiling within purely graphic design, and new surroundings opened new possibilities. I felt a strong urge to create something of my own, to take ownership and generate tangible impact. This led to the founding of Het Zonneveld and Wild Sauce Co.. While continuing to work independently as a designer, I invested in marketing and communication as well, expanding my perspective from visual execution to strategic positioning.

Today, I create visual identities and projects that are worth remembering. I am triggered by clever visual systems, clear and recognisable identities, bold typography and vivid colours. I believe in developing distinctive visual languages that mirror both the brand and its values.
